Goldman Fischer Refund Policy
Effective Date: 11/02/2025
Last Updated: 11/02/2025
At Goldman Fischer, we are committed to delivering high-quality financial advisory and investment management services to our clients. Our services are tailored to meet individual and business financial goals, and we dedicate significant time, expertise, and resources to providing professional guidance. As a general policy, we do not offer refunds for services rendered. This policy outlines the conditions and exceptions, if any, related to refunds.
Refund Policy
1. No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of professional financial services, Goldman Fischer does not generally issue refunds once services have been provided. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
-
Our services involve strategic planning, investment advisory, and portfolio management, all of which require significant research, expertise, and execution.
-
Once advisory or consulting services are initiated, they cannot be reversed or "returned," as they involve intellectual property, financial analysis, and time investment.
-
Fees for completed services are non-refundable, including initial consultations, financial strategy sessions, portfolio management, tax planning, or other advisory services.
2. Exceptions to the No Refund Policy
While refunds are generally not permitted, Goldman Fischer may consider partial refunds or service credits under the following limited circumstances:
2.1. Overpayment or Billing Error
If a client is mistakenly overcharged or billed in error, we will promptly review and, if confirmed, issue a refund for the overpaid amount. Clients must notify us within 30 days of the billing date to request a correction.
2.2. Prepaid Services – Unused Portion
For services billed in advance (e.g., quarterly or annual retainer fees for investment advisory), we may provide a pro-rated refund if services are terminated before the end of the billing cycle. Refunds will be based on the unused portion of the prepaid period, minus any applicable administrative or termination fees.
2.3. Failure to Deliver Service
If Goldman Fischer fails to deliver services as outlined in a signed engagement agreement due to circumstances within our control, we will assess whether a refund or service credit is appropriate. This does not include factors beyond our control, such as market fluctuations, investment losses, or changes in financial conditions.
2.4. Regulatory or Legal Obligations
If applicable laws or state regulations require a refund under specific conditions, we will comply with such requirements. Clients will be notified if a refund is mandated by law.
3. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are strictly non-refundable:
-
Initial Consultation Fees: Fees charged for introductory or strategy sessions are final and non-refundable, as they involve professional analysis and recommendations.
-
Investment Losses: Market performance is inherently unpredictable, and Goldman Fischer is not responsible for losses due to market conditions, investment decisions, or economic downturns. No refunds will be provided based on investment performance.
-
Transaction Fees: Any fees associated with executing transactions, wire transfers, or brokerage-related costs are non-refundable.
-
Third-Party Fees: If a third party (e.g., a custodian, broker, or financial institution) charges fees in connection with your account, Goldman Fischer has no control over those fees and cannot provide refunds for them.
4. Refund Request Process
If you believe you qualify for an exception under this policy, you must submit a written refund request with the following details:
-
Your full name and account details.
-
The service for which you are requesting a refund.
-
The reason for the request, with supporting documentation if applicable.
-
The date of service and payment transaction details.
Requests should be sent via email to: admin@goldmanfischer.com or by mail to our office address:
